| 87.7 | Upper Trout Creek Rapids, Class II: Small waves with shallow rocks near center of river. | ||
| 87.5 | Lower Trout Creek Rapids, Class II+: River is navigable on either side of the island. Standing waves,beware of boulder at top center of right channel. | ||
| 86.6 | Redside: Two campsites, medium groups, toilet, good shade. | ||
| 86.2 | Lower Redside: Campsite, large group, good shade. | ||
| 84.3 | Wildlife Note: Osprey are often seen at the confluence of the Warm Springs River. | ||
| 83.9 | South Junction: Fee campground, vehicle access (not recommended for float-in camping), toilet, garbage service, closed to boat launching. | ||
| 80.5 | Wingdam: Three campsites, medium group, toilet, limited shade. | ||
| 77.8 | Whiskey Dick: Seven campsites, medium to large groups, toilet, some shade, sandy beaches. | ||
| 77.3 | Geologic Note: Large rock outcropping on river right shows signs of extreme pressure during volcanic formation. This unstable rock is a constant problem for the railroad. Elaborate spring-loaded wire fences have been constructed to signal warning lights for oncoming trains when rock slides occur. | ||
| 76.8 | Whitehorse Rapids Scouting Point: 1/2 mile below the Whiskey Dick campsites on river right, just after small Class II rapid. Active railroad - DANGER - stay off the tracks!! | ||
| 76.7 | Whitehorse Rapids, Class III+: Large rocks, standing waves, and turbulent currents make this half mile long rapid the most difficult rapid in this section. Scouting is highly recommended!! |
