Boater Pass System
Segment 1 and Segment 4 limited entry trips must have at least one named individual (Group Leader or named alternate) present in order for the boater pass to be valid.
Limited entry dates for Segment 1 & Segment 4 for 2008 are Friday, Saturday and Sunday beginning July 1st through August 31st and Segment 4 extends to October 12th.
Group leaders and named alternates will be blocked from obtaining another limited entry pass in each segment until the first pass has been used.
Segment 1 & Segment 4 boaters are required to check-in at staffed launch point or self registration kiosk. Failure to check-in may result in denial to obtain passes in the future.
Segment 1 check-in dates: May 15th through September 15th
Segment 4 check-in dates: May 15th through October 15th
Protection of Spawning Beds:
MCR Steelhead are listed as threatened under ESA. Avoid steeping on spawning beds (redds) and flushing juveniles from shoreline vegetation where they will be more susceptible to predation.
